Suzanne Fletcher has lived in Eaglescliffe, Stockton-on-Tees since 1979. She was a councillor from 1981 to 2011 as a Liberal Democrat. In her early days on the Council she had many battles for freedom of information, so when Mayor in 2006-07 was delighted to find out about Brass Crosby. A story to be told, promoting Stockton too. She is still involved in many campaigns of justice and fairness locally and nationally. Married to a former councillor and Mayor, John, she has one son and two adult grandchildren.
